Rocky Mountain Hi

Haven't been back to the great state in about a year and a half. Last time I was here... DRAMA. Thick as hell. And it was cold, and brown, and...

I like it so far. I celebrated last night with my Mom and Marc. It was really fun. Showed them how we drink beer out in the East biggity. Didn't sleep all that well. Dreamt about facing left-handed pitching and finding an apartment. Don't ask.

We're headed up for Boulder a bit later today, to go see Shakespeare in the Park. Othello. One of my all time faves. Never seen it "live". I did like the Branaugh and Fishbourne movie though.

I'm really excited about the prospect of moving to my new spot. Wherever this said spot will be. Gots to get furniture and paintings. And what's best, I'm gonna commision my mom to paint me a big ol' painting. Not sure what I want it to be of or about or what colors/tone/mood it should depict. Whether it should be impressionist or abstract. Kinda depends on the spot. I mean the Bachelor pad's got to be matching.

Other than that, I haven't really been outside of the house much, and I feel a bit cooped up, but I'm sur we'll be hitting the road soon. Vinh, you'll be hapy to know that I'm circulating butter beer out here in CO. I told Marc it's the best beer ever, and he's a beer man fo sheez, so he went and got a six-pack! Sweet.

Tonight I might hangout with some highschool/middleschool aquiantences. One is my middle school crush (if you're reading this, surprise!). The other I think went to elementary school and all the way through. I dont remember! (sorry). She went to Stanford (booooooo). But we never hung out when we were in the bay. LAME. SO tonight is the night. Should be fun. Look forward to seeing denver and it's changes.
